Welcome to Camp Crummett! Camp Crummett- The Real Story
In the summer of 1987, I went to the mountains near Florissant, Colorado, to help my brother Lance and his wife Judy build a log home. Joining us was our 12-year-old nephew, Sam Cason. Our mission, as mandated by Sam's mother, our sister, Melodie, was simply to make him laugh..
We spent the first weeks digging holes and pouring cement for the foundation and learning to live in tents. The food of choice was Mountain Dew and "stuff"- chips and Judy's home-made salsa. We ate tons of stuff.
We also did some shooting- with firearms, caulk guns and squirt guns. Sam, a former ninja aficionado, became Ninja Rakemaster of Death. In fact, after he threw a bungee cord to me a bit hard than I expected, the Bungee Cord of Death, became "Just-About-Anything of Death."
OK, I get it. Take me back to Camp.
Woof! Too weird for me! Take me back to MarkCrummettWorld!
